Each year, people contact us with questions about ON Farm Fest, Onondaga County’s open farm day! We created the ON Farm Fest insider’s guide to give you those answers, and to suggest ways you can maximize your farm tours. This year, the event is on Saturday, September 16th from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m – and yes, it’s a free event!

There are 9 amazing farms to visit this year, but our first piece of advice is: don’t try to visit all of the farms. Pick about 3-4 farms that appeal to you. If you aren’t sure where to start, read on and we’ll share the highlights of each farm…from live music to food trucks, kid’s activities to giveaways. We’ll see you ON the farm!
