WHAT WE PRODUCE
“Delaney Farms was founded in 1910. We run a farm stand right on the farm where we sell sweet corn, tomatoes, squash, peppers, cut flowers, onions, hay, straw, small grains, and greens from our high tunnel. In the spring, we sell plants and flowers from our greenhouses.”
BEST THING ABOUT FARMING
“Farming allows our family to work together – it keeps us close.”
QUOTE WE LIVE BY
“Anything worth doing, do your best.”
SURPRISING FACTS
“There is one strand of corn silk for each kernel in an ear of corn. A typical ear of corn has about 800 kernels and 16 rows. Another surprising fact is that our entire family works hard to give back to the community. We support local food pantries, have adopted highways, are advisors to the CCE Onondaga Agriculture Committee, and more.” (JoAnn is even a United States Figure Skating Judge!)
HOW TO SUPPORT OUR FARM
“Shop our farm stand on 3633 West Seneca Turnpike, the entrance is on Kasson Road North. We also sell at the CNY Regional Market on Saturdays. Our website is www.DelaneyFarms.com.”
